My set from Love Long Beach festival 2022. I have been a fan of this festival since it was a free gathering on the beach. The team tnat throws this event have something very special they do and its unique to their flavor. SO of course i had to bring something extra special!!!!

This is one of those sets that built up inside me, patiently awaiting its perfect moment. I found a few of these tracks some years ago and was struck by their unique flavor. Slowly but surely I built up my collection of what I would call the "indie-dance / nu-disco" sound. There is plenty of music under the blanket of those genres but much less of it out there that speaks to my personal tastes. I kept my ears open and picked them up one by one. This isn't a style that I will play often, but damn did it feel right on this beautiful sunrise morning in the desert. Smiling faces and dancing bodies radiated love and light, the speaker stacks roared and my heart was full. I hope you enjoy this set at full volume and dance yourself unabashedly into your happy place :)

Happy to share a new studio mix today. For this instalment, I pulled back by slowing some tracks down and deliberately sustaining the transitions, resulting in a steady, contemplative feel. When we got the call from the Robot Heart team asking if we were going to attend the Free Burn, and would we be able to DJ their 1st sunrise since 2019, we knew something special was about to take place.  

Both of us had performed solo sets on the bus many times in the past, but this was to be our 1st time playing as a duo. This special sunrise set is a dedication to the life of Robot Heart founder, Geo. 

We did our best to capture his inspiration, celebrate his contribution, and shine a light on his legacy.

We had several discussions back and forth with RH members that knew Geo well, and with that knowledge, we prepared special songs and spoken word moments to honor his memory.

Apart from that we did not plan out any of the set, and allowed the moment and energy to guide our selections and musical choices. 

We’d like to thank the entire RH Family for their trust and support over the years. And we’d especially like to thank all the true Burners who were in attendance, for adhering so well to Larry’s 10 principles, respecting the Playa, and reminding us all why we make this trek out to the barren, yet magical landscape, every year. Together we danced to celebrate life, and in particular, to celebrate the life of Geo, as he watched from above.  

We hope this recording brings a smile to the faces of all the lovely Burners who were in attendance, and also to all those Burners, including Geo (who were there in spirit) dancing in the dust, with sunshine and freedom, radiating all around us.

His emotive collection of melodic dance music ranges from groovy and sexy to dark and empowering.  Through divine inspiration and an artistic sensibility, he has a refined talent for feeling into the vibe of any space and playing just the right song for the moment.

Brad's deepest desire is to share vibrations that inspire you to radically express yourself, dance like there's no tomorrow, feel the spectrum of human emotions, connect deeply with yourself and others, and experience the fullness of living in the present.

Jason Esun is a Producer and DJ out of Long Beach CA who has taken his inspiration from the underground and made it his own.
