Alex Lentini & STOMP BOXX return to Drumcode following January’s outstanding contribution ‘Natural Desire’. The release marked the first in 2021 for the label and perhaps, fortuitously, their follow up ‘Split the Noise’ marks the final on Adam Beyer’s imprint for the year, reinforcing the respect the DC boss has for the Italian pair and their developing studio talents.

Alan Fitzpatrick's We Are The Brave imprint present their final release of 2022, an industrial-edged techno EP from Ignacio Arfeli. 

The Argentinian artist is known for his past releases on Respekt, Octopus, Codex as well as Dense & Pika's Kneaded Pains. Following the success of his label debut in 2020, Ignacio returns to We Are the Brave with 'Mystery EP', a peak time four-tracker which merges the artist's trademark style with hypnotic synths and brutal percussion. 

"Mystery" opens the release with its rave percussion and Detroit-style synth stabs, before moving onto the fast-paced rhythms and ambient breakdowns of "Town House". "Activation" follows with its suspense building, hard-hitting vibe. The EP closes with "Violent People (Outro Mix)" an ambient cut with dystopian vibes and sci-fi atmosphere.

Eric gets straight to the point with the title-track, where we find him rolling out the percussion and bringing in classy, evolving synths over a rubber-band bassline; another testament to Eric's clever production skills, leaving ample room for each element to breathe. 'The Timeless' is a moody groover, with a persistent rhythm section being dominated by sonar-esque leads and samples mangled beyond recognition, giving a firm nod to the tribal side of things.

<p>Barbuto makes his phobiq debut and the aptly-titled &#8220;Cicadas&#8221; is up first, boasting buzzing synths in the background while evolving arpeggios slowly engulf the track. The Spektre remix toughens things up as the boys add their trademarked shadowy percussion and create a total heads-down vibe. &#8220;Eye Of Horus&#8221; introduces subtle riffing and claustrophobic melodic elements which lead to Thoth&#8217;s mix where we get a more looped-out approach together with a grinding rhythm section.</p>

biggest yet.

The 25-track strong compilation features standout cuts Beyer has received over the last 12 months, but been unable to
find room for in Drumcode’s regular release schedule, such is the volume and high standard of music that’s submitted.
The highlight-rich compilation includes Jamie Jones & Darius Syrossian’s buzzy Drumcode debut ‘Eyes of the Night’,
Nicole Moudaber’s first DC release in 5 years with the mesmerizing ‘This Is Us’, Will Clarke’s bass-drenched re-work
of Adam Beyer & Bart Skils ‘Your Mind’ and Joey Beltram’s first Drumcode release in 11 years with the retro-tinged
‘Can You Feel It’.

The beloved Alan Fitzpatrick returns to the fold with the searing ‘Heiße Rakete’, alongside label mainstays Layton
