There's a scene from a book I read as a kid where the characters get whisked away to a far away land through a painting of an ocean ship. I struggled with math & would read this series of books when I was supposed to be working on math. Though my grades suffered my imagination soared. As an adult I asked my Auntie M if she'd close her eyes & listen to a chord progression I was working on & tell me what she saw. Being a gifted artist she recounted the scene in this song. I felt inspired by her vision & the unfolding feelings of romance I was having at the time which resulted in the amalgamation of what you hear here.
