Born and raised in Winnipeg, Jason is not only a singer, but also a songwriter, producer, engineer, and musician.  He first garnered recognition for playing piano at only the age of 3.  He later rose to prominence in his full time work at Winnipeg's Studio 11 Entertainment where he not only utilized his engineering, producing, writing skills, but also added a variety of instruments to his musical skill repertoire. 
When reflecting on his time spent in the studio, Jason comments, 
"This has led to the adventure of me finding my sound as an artist".
