This is the first in a series (up to 4 so far) devoted mainly to tracks with slow, heavy, dark beats. The template isn't set in stone, allowing enough variation so that I don't end up resorting to just a pile of old dubstep and generic downtempo tracks. Genre names like "industrial dub" and "industrial techno" are suitable and ambiguous enough given that I was prompted on this path by a late night, post concert conversation with friends about the somewhat disquieting pleasures found in the music of Scorn and Pan Sonic (RIP Mika Vaino).
