I recorded this piece sometime back with reminiscent thoughts of love and a journey for freedom--just a sketch. I now know from which memories I derived my inspiration: warm summers in L.A. with a woman with whom I ate, talked, fought and loved. How she handled my always wanting to be a grownup, I'll never know, but she gave me so much love. I always admired her strength. She never wanted to live in a nursing home, so she passed up the offer and said goodbye to this earth on her own terms. You never gave up your independence, Grandma. You're a tough gal. If you can hear this, this is for you. I love you. Rest in peace, Grandma Margie. (5/21/1922-1/20/2012). 

Love and Independence

Where to start. Bios are tough for me. Ok...I am a classically trained pianist and composer, and my dream job as a kid was to become the conductor of the L.A. Philharmonic. Not what the universe had in mind for me. Instead, I became an avid house head, and I developed a love for electronic music. I am attending the Ableton certified Garnish School of Electronic Music Production and Performance in Miami, FL, where I have been so far formally trained in DJing. I dream of becoming a world-class DJ & producer and Hollywood film score writer. My sets are eclectic, but you’ll find mostly standard house, progressive, organic, downtempo, Chicago and disco. My foremost heroes are my parents, who met as ushers at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, working for the L.A. Phil. They instilled in me a love for all genres of music during my entire upbringing. My other heroes are all the teachers tirelessly educated me. Thank you for your interest in my artistry.
