The Trinity Site is where the first atomic bomb was detonated. The side is open twice a year to the public, located on the White Sands Missile Range. 
Ground zero site is still radioactive. Trinitite, a radioactive mineral that was created when the first nuclear bomb was detonated can be found very easily all over the ground zero site. "Trinity Los Alamos," the song by Ataraxia Music was released on July 16, 2024 (the anniversary of the first atomic bomb detonation.

It took place on July 16, 1945, in the desert near Alamogordo, New Mexico, as part of the Manhattan Project. The test was conducted by a team of scientists led by J. Robert Oppenheimer, the scientific director of the Manhattan Project.

The bomb, code-named "Trinity," was a plutonium implosion device and had an expected yield of 20 kilotons. The test was conducted in a desert location to minimize the risk of injury or damage. The bomb was placed on a 100-foot steel tower and detonated at 5:29 AM. The explosion created a massive fireball and a mushroom cloud that reached 40,000 feet into the air. The blast was felt for over 100 miles and the light from the explosion was visible for over 200 miles.

The test was deemed a success and provided crucial data on the effects of a nuclear explosion. The results of the test were used to design the atomic bombs that were later dropped on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki resulted in the deaths of over 200,000 people, mostly civilians, and brought an end to World War II. The Trinity test is considered a significant event in world history and marks the first time nuclear weapons were ever used in war.

I learned that because the Trinity Test (the bomb was known as the Gadget) was close to the ground, it shot large amounts of radiation into the atmosphere, affecting thousands of people. Ranchers and cows lived only 13 miles from the test site and tens of thousand of people lived within 50 miles and were not even told about the test until after the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

There also was some controversy regarding UFO sightings in the area. During the day of the bomb blast, two young boys were looking for their cow when they heard the explosion. Nearby, the ground was on fire and a weird avocado-shaped object was seen with a hole in one side and pieces of metallic debris surrounded the object. Of course all this was covered up by the military and there's a lot more to this story. 

I don't know about you, but I think if you're alive today, you've lived under the threat of complete annihilation by ICBMs, Nuclear Warheads, Bombs, whatever. It's now 79 years since the bomb was tested at Los Alamos. 

My point in writing this song was to create more awareness and ask the question, why can't humans evolve pass the Nuclear Annihilation Threshold? I don't have a solution, but I felt the need to at least raise the question, when will we be able to not live in fear of annihilation.

 NO Artificial Intelligence is use in the creation of my music and, as far as I'm concerned, AI will never enter "MY" music or I can't call my music "mine." (that's pretty much how it works ,too).

Regarding the music, I certainly hope you enjoy as much as I do. I think it's awesome music. It ain't a pop song, but it's different.
