Phantom Love is a solo project by Italian experimental artist Valentina Fanigliulo - also known as Mushy.
In this project the artist explores her love for electronic music, influenced by a genealogy that connects Carpenter to Mann, Detroit to Rome.
A retro-futuristic production that is equally analogue and digital, haunting and exotic, a sonic sculpture of obsessive arpeggios and reverb-drenched strings. 
Tribal and shape-shifting drums structures fight against the liquid interplay and superimposition of cymbals and cowbells delays.

After a debut on Mannequin Records, Phantom Love is now releasing her new EP "Crave For Lust", out on ZerOKilled Music - October 17th 2013.

For GhostlyCast #84, producer / vocalist / guitarist Jess Labrador of Chasms assembles some of the music the band was listening to during the making of their latest LP, The Mirage. Released on Felte Records in early 2019, the album finds the LA-via-SF duo pushing their ethereal sound into the murky depths of dub. As such, their guest mix — a potent, hazy sequence titled False Horizon — traverses dub, industrial, '90s classics and recent discoveries with keen attention to mood. "I wanted to include a lot of texture and atmosphere but also rhythm and a hint of melancholy dissonance," says Labrador. "This mix is like a dismantled version of the album experienced through the lens of other artists' songs."
