When It Calls (Album Version)

“From The Garden” was co-written by Sophia Bella Cucci and producer Graham Gilmore, and recorded in Sophia’s “home studio” during quarantine, consisting of basic recording gear and a homemade vocal booth. While being separated from each other during this time, the pair wanted to write a song about love and home to inspire and uplift their audience, a sharp contrast to her debut single “Riot.”  Sophia was inspired by the deeply meaningful lyrics and captivating instrumentals of “Rain Song” by Led Zeppelin, and wanted to capture the feeling of finding true love with her words and arrangement. The phrase “come back home to you” takes on a special meaning when encapsulated with the ethereal synths and pulsing beat that drive the chorus, inspiring a feeling of springtime and how a garden is both a shared space and a metaphor for the comfort you feel in being with someone.  The track is mastered by Grammy-nominated mastering engineer Kim Rosen (Knack Mastering).
