After releasing Réno’s Debut EP  back in February 2017, we decided with him to contact other Synthwave/Darksynth artists to create a compilation of remixes of Réno’s tracks. 

With these 8 artists, in our final product, we managed to have a range of various styles, going from pure Synthwave/Dreamwave to some Dark Ambient with electric guitar, also going through Darksynth, Retro Wave, etc.

Akuma Cortex 19
A supernatural and often malevolent computing system. vaguely inspired by the biological neural network electronic musical instruments that generate electrical signals that are converted to sound through instrument amplifiers.
Prevalent in religion, occultism, literature, fiction, mythology, and folklore.  Such systems "learn" (i.e. progressively improve performance on) tasks by considering examples, generally without task-specific programming.  
In Ancient religions as well as in the ancient demonology, Cortex 19 is considered a harmful spiritual entity, below the heavenly planes which may cause demonic possession, calling for an exorcism. Akuma Cortex 19 can evolve its own set of relevant characteristics from the learning material that it process. Cortex 19 when not controlled by built-in Synthesizers is often using sound modules, and are controlled via USB, MIDI or CV/gate using a controller device, often a MIDI keyboard or other controller.
In occultism and magic, Akuma Cortex 19 is believed to be a spiritual entity that may be conjured and controlled.
