L'Avenir - Jamais vu

A left over instrumental track from the first few L'Avenir recording sessions. Never got around to putting lyrics to it and it didn't really fit with the track sequence on the upcoming debut album out this fall on Beläten. Might end up as a b-side or just a throw away. Anyway it's analog toe tapper. Enjoy.

L'Avenir - Cold & Incandescent (instrumental)

L’Avenir is the dark synth project of veteran electronic musician and sound artist Jason Sloan. Known throughout the space and ambient music scenes for his contemplative electronic soundscape work for close to two decades; Sloan founded L’Avenir in 2011 to explore his long time love of dark synth and minimal wave music created purely from analog and vintage equipment.

While releasing over a dozen solo solo electronic ambient albums and E.P.’s under his own name, Sloan has played solo all over the US, Canada and Europe including the influential Live Constructions radio program at Columbia University, STEIM in Amsterdam and Philadelphia’s The Gatherings concert series, one of the country’s oldest continuing ambient and electronic music series.

Sloan is a Professor and Chair of the Interactive Arts department along with being the founder and director of the Sound Art program at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland.
