I watched you slowly burn under the corporate sun, sending everything into a glow and me into a rage. The space you left; a fracture. All I wanted was to grieve and I couldn't even bury you. Slow me down.

To me you were everything: a neverending box of melodies. You were everything: a threat to power slowly swinging carving you into the sky. Slowly dying here without you.

CHAPTER 4

I don't sleep to rest. I sleep to talk to you just one more time, and it's these habits that slowly burn this house down with everyone inside. As I learn that I'm addicted to you, and that a nation of fists waits for me, realization sits and stares back... refusing to motivate.

And so I stop to reminisce every now and then, but there's clouds to keep from choking my sisters half to death. I know what I have to do, but how do I prepare? Is there even a line between what's right and what's fair?

Cryptic tapestries weave through my mind.
Kaleidoscope of purpose crushing down on a wary soul.

I just hope the universe is wrought with guilt from the choice to pull us apart. I can't fight back like they need, but I know what I have to do.

"I know we swore that we'd never speak again, and that you're off in some distant reality somewhere... but I need you to come home."

And so I stop to reconcile all that's in my head, but the time I take to contemplate will poison my like lead. I know what I have to do, but will I have a home after sending out the starry call; the savior's palindrome?

See beyond the surface of the Earth. Witness this planet's thrash. See beyond the connections we made. An answer sits within a broken code. I seek change; overdue course correction. Skin shifts to cellophane. The agent decomposing organics. Extermination is nigh.

I FOUND DEATH BEGGING FOR ITS LIFE. THE COUNCIL SPOKE OF RECOMPENSE AND I THOUGHT OF NO ONE ELSE BUT HER, THE ONE I COULDN'T SAVE. So, it all burns.
