Hey, I'm Jason -a normal dude for the most part.  I enjoy hanging out with my wife, reading, Americano’s (with an extra shot of espresso when I’m feeling ambitious), infrequently blogging at jasonwallermusic.com/blog, and KU basketball (although I don’t light a candle to my wife’s fanmanship). These are a few of my favorite things.

I love my wife. She inspires and encourages me to be more like Jesus -if not for her hard work and encouragement, I don’t think I’d be able to spend time pursuing music.

As far as music goes, I love it (a bold claim, I know). Music is wonderfully wonderful on several leves.  In a nutshell: music can be a powerful means to a glorious end.  I love seeing people transformed by the gospel, both those who have yet to believe in Jesus and those who already trust Him as Lord. I believe that the message of Christ crucified not only breaks down the walls of our sin and shame allowing us to love God and others, but rather it continually compels us to love God and others. 

That being said, music can take lyrics where they cannot go by themselves in order to point people to that supreme truth, the gospel.
