This is an autobiographical mixtape journey into the past. A time when I fell in love. Fatally. First with dance music. I’d always enjoyed dance music but in the late 80’s and early 90’s it became an all consuming passion that persists to this day. Next it was making dance music. Samplers had become “affordable” and I had had acquired some basic kit at this point. Very much inspired by indie dance producers like Bomb The Bass and S’Express as well as acid house luminaries KLF. Lastly it was with a lifeguard. It was a confusing time. Long story short I had puppy love in a big bad way and they were very kind about it. It’s a mixtape telling that story via late 80’s and early 90’s dance jams that I loved at the e time.
