A Myriad Of Thought (2016)

These are three small pieces from my score for the short film, "Speak Easy, B," directed by Becca Park and Jun Shimizu. They are meant to be more transitional and mood-setting than as standalone tracks. The majority of the film takes place inside B's mind in a dreamy and surreal landscape so you'll hear how I tried to match this vibe using evolving synth combos and ambient textures.

This is the Title Theme from a short film I scored, called "Speak Easy, B," directed by Becca Park and Jun Shimizu. I had an absolute blast working with them on this film!

B. is a young, queer woman struggling with depression and heartache. During an introductory session with her therapist, B. delves into a desert oasis deep inside her mind, exploring themes of identity, gender and loneliness through a series of surreal, dreamlike vignettes.

This is an original piece that I composed for Love Heals All Wounds, a powerful new show by MAI (Movement Art Is), featuring Jon Boogz and Lil Buck. This particular number features Olga Sokolova, whose movement artistry truly brings this piece to life. I am so honored to be on the show's Creative Team as composer and sound designer, as well as performing in the show.

"Air" also features my good friend Mariko on the cello, whom you may recognize from "Transcendence," which is also in Love Heals All Wounds.
