First song i ever made on the computer when i was just getting into electronic music... 8 years ago.  Used a lecture from my favourite philosopher Alan Watts, before i found out he's been sampled a million times in every electronic genre ever.  So i guess i wasnt very original!  Nonetheless, potent wisdom in these vibes.

My hope is that when i die, i hear his voice guiding me onwards.

3 Years ago we made a sigil (magick symbol used as a tool to make things happen) to get something really big we wanted. So i made a musical sigil to accompany it... this is it. Good news... it worked!

Second half of the song is heavily is inspired by my 3 years in a Gamelan (Balinese Orchestra), learning the mystical and insanely complex patterns and cosmologies of the craziest music i've ever heard or played.

Sailing Siren Stories (ft. Krystal Patience)

An ode to one of my favourite musicians of all time, the one and only Sun-Ra.  He was an iconic jazz avant garde genius who said he was from Saturn and was on earth to free the african race from oppression, bring cosmic consciousness to humanity and reclaim the Egyptian mythocracy.  His band, the "Arkestra" wore flashy psychedelic alien egypt inspired outfits and they made artsy movies about space.  He never took himself too seriously and brought a cosmic philosophy of afro futurist absurdity.  Sun-Ra was the real deal.

This song is inspired by the interplay and co-evolution of Nature and Technology... betwixt the magical elemental fae realms and the sonic soundscapes of electronic ones and zeros.  My wife, Krystal, and I have been working on songs together for a while now.  This one we started as an improvized jam and then it became the first one we ever performed live.
