Emerging onto the global electronic music scene, French duo Himszlow mark their arrival with an enchanting EP titled "Phenomenon," now available on the esteemed Dear Deer Music label. This release unveils their unique take on organic and melodic house, showcasing their musical prowess and innovative approach. The "Phenomenon" EP comprises two original tracks that beautifully capture Himszlow's signature style. "Galago" leads listeners on a captivating journey through intricate soundscapes, inviting them to immerse themselves in a world of rhythmic textures and evocative melodies. "Prayer" follows suit, offering a blend of ethereal harmonies and soulful vibes that resonate deeply. To elevate the experience even further, the release includes exceptional remixes from the renowned Ten Walls and the talented Betoko. Ten Walls breathes new life into "Galago" with his atmospheric and intricate reimagining, while Betoko takes "Prayer" to new heights with his hypnotic and rhythmic interpretation. Himszlow's journey into the music realm began in the early 2000s as a DJ during the dawn of the minimal techno movement. With a residency at some of Paris's premier clubs, they found themselves in the company of leading figures in the emerging minimal scene. However, the allure of production eventually beckoned. Over two decades of experimentation, they have honed a distinctive sound – a raw and hypnotic electronic resonance that veers off the conventional path. In 2022, Himszlow underwent a transformative shift as Ben, one half of the duo, fully integrated Antoine, his former DJ partner, into the creative process. From initially collaborating as arrangers on multiple projects, they have now embraced a complete synthesis of their musical sensibilities. Today, as a powerful duo, Himszlow embarks on an exciting journey to an elevated realm of production that transcends artistic boundaries. "Phenomenon" EP is a testament to Himszlow's ability to craft compelling narratives through their music. It's an invitation to explore their sonic world, where the organic and melodic converge in harmonious synergy. With remixes from legends Ten Walls and Betoko, this release exemplifies Himszlow's commitment to pushing boundaries and captivating audiences. Channel Tres

Channel Tres grew up in the Compton neighborhood of Los Angeles. His voice is effortlessly deep, as if Barry White didn't realize he was Barry White. "Controller", Channel's debut single on Godmode (Yaeji, Shamir), took classic Detroit house and reimagined it with the surly attitude of West Coast rap. Pitchfork, NPR, Gorilla vs. Bear, BBC Radio 1, Spotify, Apple, and KCRW were early champions, along with Australia's esteemed Triple J radio, who put "Controller" in full rotation.

In advance of his self-titled debut EP (out July 27 on Godmode), Channel blesses us with "Jet Black", another taste of his unorthodox union of four-on-the-floor and Compton. The song is an oozy ode to the blackest of black, over a ferocious modular synth instrumental that takes cues from industrial and early electro. "I never reply when you hit me/ I'm off the grid you can't get me" – it's hard not to feel invincible when this one plays. The video, directed by cult filmmaker Anthony Sylvester, captures Compton at its most contorted, where barbershops double as churches, where liquor stores become after-hours raves.
