Thunder Force IV - Fighting Back (Stage 1A)

This is it, this is the theme to the final level of Riot and Trigger.
The location for this level is the core of the planet ArcWorld (the game's main setting). Riot or Trigger must journey to the gate from which the universes most feral and deadly demons will be released in order to stop a major calamity from happening.

I threw in quite a few references here and there, and wanted to go for more of a "culmination of your efforts" feel for this song. The softer parts of the song are here to remind you that no matter how strong you got on your playthrough of the game, at one point you were just starting out. In that way, I think the song is quite sentimental.

First time I've done an SPC without any midi to mml conversion tools and I'm slowly getting more confident in the absolute ballache that is mml! Thanks to @harumi-makoto for helpful advice when making this and ValleyBell for his awesome smps2mid tool so I could have the original sequence data in a digestable form.

Took a bit of liberties with this one, mainly the middle section.
I had a version of this with a sample of Planet Flora but it didn't work out as well as I hoped it to. I'll try to upload that in the future once I figure it out.

Not far from the beach is the casino, a place of vice and corruption.  Reminiscent of Big Band arrangements, Cosmic Chaos conveys a sense of hedonistic delight. Act 2 is darker and more frantic, intended to expose the dark heart at the center of this brand of fun.
