The guitar solos and slap bass bits were done by the new team member Jungle Josh, this track could not have been finished without him!
And as always this project is handled by Axanery and Cyber1204.

I wanted to celebrate by redoing this track after a long time showcasing how much I've improved since then. You can hear lots of bits that I built up from the original Remix. But I got stuck with some leads, and couldn't make any progress on it. So again thanks to Jungle Josh for being such an amazing dude for helping me on a whim, and making this track go even harder.

**EDIT: Thank you so much for these 300 likes and almost-15k plays.  I just recently got back into the groove of uploading things to soundcloud again.  I may upload an extension of this remix in the near future.

Ripped audio samples from actual game and mixed it up a bit in Audacity and other programs, and came up with a nice little fusion of both the S3 and S&K versions of Knuckles' theme.  Enjoy~

Dear SEGA, I hear that legal troubles regarding Sonic 3's original soundtrack might be part of what's holding you back from a re-release of Sonic 3 ( www.sonic3remastered.com/ More info here)
I suggest an alternative solution to trying to get the rights to use the songs that are currently providing a roadblock in greenlighting the project.
