a)Playing Guitar Since-

About 12years…I remember using my Dads Gibson Acoustice Jumbo guitar in 10 grade
I started practicing and Jamming with my fren Sonam lachungpa/Still waters guitarist
looking for lessons which we did not have at that moment thinking to getting into it pretty fast.
we still have the Guitar hanging in the wall today and it is quite old as far as condition
goes and remains safely tucked away.I think how i managed to play that Guitar with a broad neck.
Having a great first guitar really helped me learn.

I will say that there were some years during and after my high school that I did not
play much. I wanted to be a Navy but landed up as a Graphic designer cause i was not much intrested in studies and books.During those years, I played but did not practice much.
About 10 years ago I met my cousin Brother Prashant and my old shool friend Arpan's brother Bardan who played for the band and his friend Sanzit who played Drums and Riwaz with a second Guitar back in Nepal when i was into Graphic Designing. we all have the same taste of music and the genre as "ROCK".We became great friends and that is when I really started back at it forming Band Pralay recording an debut album back then with a tribute to Iron Maiden "Be Quick or be Dead" i still have the recorded version in my Facebook page and as well in Youtube.

When it comes down to it I love guys with confidence. This is rock and roll to me.
Seeing Bardan, Prashant,Riwaz and sanjit live as PRALAY is pretty stupid cool.
Confidence is a major influence to me as I am trying to get better at it.And we all had that.
We were marked as the best Iron Maiden Covering Band those Days.

b)My major influences-

I always dug the session guys more than anything growing up.Slash/Guns and Roses,
Joe Satriani and Ritchie Blackmore/Deep Purple were big when I was young.
I loved how these guys could come up with the perfect part, solo, and sound
for a song. That was inspiring to me. Still is…Today All the above still
inspire me but also guys like Nuno Bettencourt,Paul Gilbert,Andy Timmons,
Steve Morse and many others. Each of these players approaches the instrument
in a different way. GREAT learning opportunity to learn from diverse people.

c)Describing your playing style today-

Well I hope I sound like me! I am definitely a pop/rock guy heavily influenced
by Glam Rock,Country,Smooth Jazz and Blues rock. I love the sound a cool vibey & guitar
into a great amp with a memory man delay. I love making chunky rhythm and the fun
ambient/washy stuff too. I love simple lines that make a part and love a solo you
can feel and make others feel too.

d)Working on right now on-

I playing for a Trio Band Take3 mostly Acoustic.
I have also been with Ninelives a Hard rock band which formed myself a Dream Group.
And that has been a ton of fun.After a long gap iam playing Hard Rock stuffs like
Mr Big,Skid Row,Ac/dc,Extreme and many more,after 3 years,I was always interested in Hard Rock cause it makes me feel like ima in a band.I always had great fun playing those kinds of
Leg shaking and Jaw breaking numbers.

e)My live rig: guitars, amps, effects, …

It depends on the gig, but I have been using Epiphone Les Paul Standard Heritage Cherry
with Alnico Classic Humbuckers and Fender Squier Classic Vibe 50s Strat and Fender
twin for practice sessions at home That amp just seems to get most of what
I need with my pedalboard/ST VOX tubeamp Processor/Digitech Hot Rod and Boss OD3
and that amp at 9 is magic. I have to use in-ears,which I am not real fond of. I know the amp sounds good in the house even if it is not great in my ears.Nowdays Amps a pretty expensive.My dreams is Fender Steel-King 1x15'' 200 watt Combo amp which costs $3399 which is lot..

Less is more and I usually keep it pretty simple as the more distortion you
use does not translate very well out front sometimes. I run delays a little hotter
live too as they can get lost out front. I love the tape delay settings as each repeat
gets more nasally and translates well.

I also use ST vOX Tubeamp effects on my smaller board and Daddario 0.9 strings.
They are the only strings I can play because of my sweaty hands. The sound great
and last WAY longer than a normal string. I use them on everything.
Description
The record the number of songs and guitar instrumental scattered by now is just for arranging the page.so being a guitarist i have planned of doing many different songs with different singers from all over.. the best ones compiling and releasing it. still on process lets hope for the better.But just "ROCK".

Band Interests
