"Juanzinho" is the loving nickname i gave to Juan Antonio, my son, born in October 2012, the greatest gift that life ever gave to me. By feeling his movements inside of the belly of his mama i became overwhelmed by the a powerful feeling and got inspiration to write this tune, here performed by the Jatoba Big Band at the special "Concert for Latin America"in Mumuth, Graz, October 2012.

"Guataca City" is a composition from the great cuban musician "Paquito d'Rivera" and was arranged for this setup by "Nicolo Loro Ravenni" (playing first tenor in this recording), here performed by the Jatoba Big Band at the "Concert for Latin America"in Mumuth, Graz, October 2012. "La Piragua" is a composition from Colombian composer "Jose Barros" and one of the most famous songs from the Colombian Cumbia repertoire. It was arranged for this setup by "Marco Antonio da Costa" and had as special guest "Yenny Gonzalez" on the Vocals, Bari Solo by Mike Ievtushenko, here performed by the Jatoba Big Band at the "Concert for Latin America" in Mumuth, Graz, October 2012.

"Clave" is a composition from the Austrian saxophonist Karlheinz Miklin " probably influenced by his work with his "Quinteto Argentina" where they play rhythms from the Argentinian/Uruguayan folklore such as Tango and Candombe . It was arranged for this setup by "Anton Pyvovarov" and had as special guest "Milosh Milojevic" on the solo Tenor Sax, here performed by the Jatoba Big Band at the "Concert for Latin America" in Mumuth, Graz, October 2012.
