"i began work on this track on april 13th 2025, with it being one of the longest songs to perfect. as much as i wanted to hit this like a regular beat, i kinda felt i really really couldnt do it any justice. it already portrayed everything i wanted it to be without the need to ruin it with my shitty vocal recording. while structuring the ep, i noticed how much of a turning point this song felt like. everything after this song felt like it was falling apart. i started focusing less on it and i fell deeper and deeper into everything happening that the quality stopped being at the forefront of my mind. i eventually decided to take a break on the ep and focus on making music i could churn out and just get everything out on, which i ended up doing for a few months until i eventually started trying to get back into making actual, good quality music again.

for all legal purposes, nintendo actually sampled ME on the Donkey Kong Country soundtrack, and i will not be taking action because im kind 🤭🤭"
