Witchtape #59 | Guest Witch : MarinJah

(Story continued from Witchtape #40)
The little witch gazed at the near full moon and was already feeling excited about her next witch coven, which happens every full moon night but always in another location and each time in the ever-changing company of witches from all corners of the continent.  But this month, her body started to feel ticklish one day earlier than normal, so she decided to take off and fly in South-Eastern direction, following her inner compass.  She flew much further than ever before, over mountains and valleys, and after that more mountains and more valleys, in the process flying over a deep blue sea twice, before finally reaching her destination, a land which was much warmer than her home country in North-Western Europe.  It was also drier, yet way more varied and diverse, a mosaic of Mediterranean shrublands interspersed with lush green valleys with olive and fig trees, which the girl had never seen with her own eyes before.
Her inner compass told her to fly northwards, and soon she was heading straight towards a majestic snow-capped mountain when all of a sudden she sensed she had reached her destination and touched down gently near a waterfall on the southern slope of the mountain.  The place felt like the garden of Eden, with flowers blooming in the most wonderful of colors and birds singing everywhere.  The little witch now looked at the water of the little lake at the foot of the waterfall, which had a mesmerizing blueish-greenish color she had never seen before.  She soon became attracted to a rock in the middle of the river, and before she knew it, she had shrugged off her clothes and waded into the river.  The water was unbelievably clear and pure, which was absolutely normal as it came straight from the glaciers near the mountain top.  This also meant the water was ice-cold, but luckily witches can withstand the cold very well.  The girl swam at a gentle pace towards the rock, while listening to the soothing sound of the nearby waterfall.  This river didn’t feel like an ordinary river as she sensed a strong energy inside each drop of water.  This energy seemed to reach a maximum near the middle of the river.  Just at that moment, the little witch saw a very old witch arriving at the right bank of the river.  Back in Europe, she knew a witch who was 850 years old (and she thought this was already very, very old), but this witch turned out to be over 6000 years old, making her realize the history of this place went back all the way to the dawn of civilization.  After a while, the little witch looked at the other side of the river and to her amazement a very young witch had arrived on the left bank.  The girl had shiny curly black hair, intense black eyes and she was clearly in her mid-teens.  It was the very first time the little witch had met with an even younger witch.  Almost synchronously, the 2 witches joined their European guest in the water and soon they found each other in silence in the middle of the river.  The little witch got almost overwhelmed by the strong but contrasting energies of the 2 other witches, connecting at the same time with the immense life experience and the vibrant youthful energy of her two sisters witch.  She sensed this would become the most memorable witch coven of her whole life…
