Artist/producer Charlie Russell, with his infectious melodies and inventive arrangements on tracks like “OV - Outrageous Vibrations", an original tribute to the great Lionel Hampton, and the radio friendly and artistically intriguing smooth jazz feel goes alone ways towards establishing his sound.

There are moments of a cool soulful groove, with his  ride in jazz improvisation, on the track “Break Up On” H “Street", and the ripping funk bass and horn lines found on the track “From The Mist" with its electrically charged guitar solos.

Charlie Russell is a self-taught musician / songwriter / arranger / producer; his recordings are intentionally melodic, giving you this highly enjoyable first look.

Soon as I heard this song it reminded me of one of  my favourite  songwriters  "Burt Bacharach"  the  changes, chords the trumpet   and the  whole feel of the song.  So it was a pleasure to bring something to the table with this song!

JAVA Jazz Quartet

Cuarteto de origen mexicano que busca la exploración sonora por medio del jazz, el nombre del cuarteto surge de la fusión de las letras iniciales de sus nombres: (J)orge (A)drián (V)íctor (A)drián.

Es el resultado de la combinación de cuatro personalidades y enfoques diversos, donde el punto de reunión es la música, basada en tres fundamentos: la libertad, expresada en la improvisación; la composición y la interacción musical durante las interpretaciones; que son propios del lenguaje jazzístico.

Nuestro objetivo es producir un sonido contemporáneo que refleje la visión de los cuatro integrantes llevando la experiencia sonora hacia un lenguaje propio, utilizando como medios de expresión los timbres particulares del saxofón, la guitarra, el contrabajo y la batería.
