Today there is a new episode of my INDIE DANCE The Mix Series....
This time with Dj & Producer H3ndrik DJ from Germany

Bio
It all started in the early 90s with a mixer and 2 turntables, I started my first attempts to mix electronic music together. 

Musically I was influenced by synth pop acts like Depeche Mode, Visage, Georgio Moroder, New Order and Kraftwerk. 
It wasn't long before the first official booking came in 1994 at the “Kling Klang” club in Wilhelmshaven. 

This was followed by various resident clubs, various raves, parades and festivals, mainly in northern Germany, where I was allowed to play regularly for many years with vinyl and later also digitally.

Musically, I would describe myself as techhouse, minimal techno, deep / melodic techno with partly house and bigbeat influences. 
I actively feed my SoundCloud page with a monthly podcast series and also supply various labels worldwide such as Bunte Liebe Records, Hometown Records HN, Deephouse Metropolis, Deep Melodies, Syzygy Podcast from Australia, Vibracion Universal Podcasts from Mexico and many more with fresh sets! 

For 2 years now I have also been a producer in a duo with my buddy Element3 under the name "SYN3RGY" with releases on "Vorwärts Music" and the fantastic label "Cho-Ku-Reï Records".

Naveen G’s productions range as far and wide as his DJ sets, and with a dynamic style and broad musical taste, he’s insured not to be confined to one particular genre: From minimal, to progressive and everything in between, Naveen is at home warming up a room or setting the dancefloor alight as the main course. Naveen G‘s career began in 1996 where he hosted his own radio show on WNUR 89.3FM Streetbeat Radio, and since then he has truly earned his place as one of America‘s longest standing DJs. Fast forward to today, and Naveen is involved with New York’s esteemed Cityfox crew alongside regular bookings at the city’s Output/Panther Room (where he regularly warms-up for their biggest headliners). He also hosts Darker Shades, a monthly radio show which he’s been running for over 15 years on Proton Radio.

Among a busy DJ career and working with Atish and Mark Slee as their A+R manager at record label Manjumassi, Naveen has stacked up an impressive list of credentials. His work has been supported by many of the world greats including Sasha, John Digweed and Hernan Cattaneo, and he has also supported a list of artists most DJs could only dream of, playing events featuring Danny Howells, Lee Burridge, Adriatque, Cassy, Dixon and many more.

Naveen has been in our sights for a while now, and in this podcast he’s managed to perfectly place a mammoth 27 tracks across 2 hours to present us with us with one of our deepest techno journeys yet. This is heady stuff. Switch of the lights and turn it up…

There is no doubt that Tim Engelhardt is considered one of the scene's most talented up-and-coming electronic music stars. If you need proof just have a look at his discography: He released his first track at the age of 14, and since then he has gone on to release over 20 singles and EPs before the age of 20 (he is currently 19 years of age).

It was the music of fellow Cologne resident Robert Babicz which inspired Tim’s journey into electronic music, and in a serendipitous twist of fate the revered engineer also took Tim under his wing, further inspiring Engelhardt to continue producing. All of his productions have a big emphasis on melody, and it’s this unique melodic sense he possess which has seen labels like Innervisions, Poker Flat, Traum Schallplatten and Babiczstyle all sign Tim Engelhardt tracks.

This Balance Selections mix drops just in time for his upcoming Australian tour which includes a highly anticipated slot at Strawberry Fields festival alongside acts like Sebastian Mullaert, Andrew Weatherall, Daniel Avery, Monkey Safari, Frankey & Sandrino.... you get the idea, it's a big lineup. And you won't be disappointed with this effort, it's filled with glorious Tim Engelhardt originals alongside cuts from artists like Trikk and Toto Chiavetta. The future of dance music sure is looking good…
