Javi Pelaz aka Javitxi is a native of Barakaldo (Bizkaia) in the north of Spain.
In 2009 he began his career as a DJ and Announcer at BF RADIO, official radio station of the Children's Cancer Charity Festival called Bandoleros held in Cañaveras (Cuenca) during the years 2009, 2010 and 2011.
In February 2014 he decided to create his own radio program called "MUSIC IS LIFE" that plays on more than 50 radio stations in Spain, Latin America and Portugal every week.
During the years 2014 and 2017 he is a Resident DJ at Espectro Music Club, combining monthly residency at Hoom Electronic Club, both in the province of Zamora.
He joined the Loca Fm León team as a DJ and Announcer in 2017.
His music has been played in different Clubs and festivals in the provinces of: Cantabria, Navarra, León, Toledo, Cuenca, Zamora, Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa...
He shared the booth with DJs such as: Pet Duo, Cesar Almena, David Herrero, Mark Ferrer, David Mallada, Richi Risco, Hector LLamazares, Angel Heredia, Darkrow, Adrian Oblanca, Fernando Campo, Ivan Cobos, Goofy.
His sessions are characterized by his exquisite musical taste, with the best of House, Deephouse, Afrohouse and Techhouse.
Currently and since 2018, he has been Announcer and Head of Programming at Stz Irratia local radio in Santurtzi (Bizkaia).
