Since streaming regularly on Twitch about this time last year I have been very bad at recording "studio" mixes, as most of my time mixing was live. Wanted to make an effort to get some mixes back on Soundcloud, so here's one! Lots of atmospheric and spacey jungle, old and new. Episode 504 in The Ghost Of's words:
I've created a mix of music that give me goosebumps, makes my spine tingle and that give me all the feelings. There's some more obvious ones and some forgotten gems. Much of these tunes hold a real importance to me.
They are mostly older tracks but there's a forthcoming tune No Nation which is proper swoony with a breakdown that makes me want to cry. 
I had to include Photeks 'Book Of Changes ' (which is the best tune ever made.) and a super old one by Double O that's about to get a re-release which is so beautiful and gets me right in the heart.

Tell us about Nothin To Do Soundsystem and future events you have planned:

Nothin' To Do is a Soundsystem and club night based in Southampton, England. 
It was started by Dj Hannin (who also runs the amazing queer femme night Bitch Don't Be Mad') and myself. Our goal is to build community, make a space for DJs who may not usually get spots at bigger events, and to ultimately put on a great party that's for friends of friends of friends. It's a proper grassroots underground thing, the venue we currently use is in a secret location (inside an old Abattoir in a railway arch). It's bring your own drinks and fits about 100 people in it. We work with local artists who provide the visuals too. The Soundsystem is also available to hire for others in the area who have a similar ethos to ourselves. 
We play jungle but our music policy is broad. Our next event is on the 30th September and is going to be an Acid House and Techno night. 
We are then back in the same venue on the 14th October for a 'History Of Breakbeats' extravaganza where we'll be teaming up again with The Sounds Crazy Collective . We'll also have an early open decks session for those who want to practice playing out on the system.

2. Since you're a great artist, tell us about your favorite piece that you had difficulty selling and why?

Selling art is definitely an emotional process for me. Everytime I finish something I think that I'm not going to be able put it up for sale on my website and that I need to keep it forever. I work in a purely handcut analogue way making one off colleges and I become quite attached. I think as well as being personal to me I also ultimately won't be able to make the same piece again. Over next few days I have to push myself to let go of them, which is obviously much more healthy approach. I have similar feelings to the commissioned pieces for the album artwork I also do. Once they've gone though, I get an amazing feeling knowing that people have my work up on their walls and are getting enjoyment from them.

3. What does Salvador Dali eat for breakfast?

Maybe phone for a Lobster Roll??????

1. Tell us about your Kool FM show 
It’s going really well! I’m enjoying myself and it feels like I’m part of a type of musical family which is really heartwarming because I’m still new to the scene. Everyone that assists us DJs is so lovely, and it’s really reassuring when people phone in as well, it feels less lonely which is quite common when playing in a room on your own. I couldn’t ask for a better experience on radio!

2. Tell us about exciting gigs and guest mixes you have coming up 
I’ve not got any guest mixes after this as of yet but I am booked to play with the Unorthodox family, which will be really exciting since I’ve never played with them before, that will be really fun and it’ll be nice to see some friendly faces down there too! I’m also playing at my second festival this year which is insane, I’m headed off to Italy to play at *Sun & Bass with the Rupture crew! My heart dropped when I got the email, that will be my 3rd holiday and set abroad this year which is still so surreal to me. 

3. If you became invisible for the day, what would you do? 
Ooooh tough question, haha. I’d probably travel abroad to a land of countries, specifically where lychees are still in season (they’re my favourite fruit) and take them back home or probably dine and dash in a restaurant I’ve always wanted to go to so I can eat good food without the price tag!
