Since I was a kid the only place I found sanctuary was within my music. I grew up on the south side of Chicago in a 3 bedroom home with 13 relatives. I dreamed of being an artist in hopes that one day I could make everybody around me good so they’d never have anything to worry about anything. I found my ability to entertain in this environment and because my mother paid attention, when she stumbled upon the Choir Academy, she knew this was the place for me to be. After being expelled from Bryn Mawr (Bouchet) I changed my trajectory and found my voice in this school. The rest, well you’ll just have to get to know me. This is my story. This is my music.
