This year we are looking forward to not only 1 but 2 new albums by DJ Hidden. I'm very excited! 

But, instead of looking forward I thought it was time to look back on his huge output the last 15+ years.

I really admire his diverse production skills and his broad view on making music. Whether it's drum & bass, hardcore, industrial, techno or ambient: when he does it, he does it right. I wanted to make some sort of a tribute mix focussing on his drum & bass alias DJ Hidden. I especially like his drum & bass, because of its dark atmopheric sounds, melodies and unique drum patterns.

Whether it be as DJ Hidden or industrial hardcore duo The Outside Agency, or any of his uncountable other aliases, Noël Wessels aka DJ Hidden just keeps writing and releasing mind-blowing tracks. Always reinventing and experimenting while keeping that dark signature DJ Hidden sound we all love so much. 

On this brand new 4-tracker titled "The White Mountain EP", DJ Hidden has journeyed back to the roots of the old-school drum & bass and jungle he fell in love with in the early days. Killer break beats, deep, dark subs and a ton of atmosphere are the key ingredients of this release. It is an ode to the glory days of the genre, heavily respecting the old school while seamlessly adding a heavy dose of brand new and exciting elements to it.
This is a stunning record by this PRSPCT veteran. That's for sure.
