An oldie, unreleased track. We did this back when we were a band with a different lineup called Oliver Black. Along with a couple other bands we recorded a version of this song as a submission for a soundtrack. They didn't chose our version, or anyone's for that matter. They went with a Fall Out Boy song. We were at the end of our relationship with now defunct indie label TVT Records. Our manager, Pat had to put up the money out of his pocket to pay for the session. 

It was recorded at Orange Studios in Toronto, engineered by Metal I believe. Joey Serlin (guitarist from The Watchmen) produced the song. We did it live off the floor, what you're hearing is the third take. The guitar solos we're done in one take (first on slide, second without) we used a Garnet "Herzog" guitar preamp through my old Morris Plexi to get that Big Sugar/Diesel engine guitar sound and the vocals were done in half an hour. Have a listen to Serena at the very end, she sounds like a tea kettle beginning to boil haha. 

I've always kind of wished there was a way to share this with people. Finally here is an opportunity.
