Moon Harbour regular Detlef is back on the label with two more of his firing club weapons. Up first is the smartly executed 'Backflash', a turbocharged tech house cut with chunky drums beneath explosive vocal samples and funky riffs. It's a track that combines physical drive and emotional release and is a playful party starter that cannot fail to make its mark. Then comes 'OffGrid' which is a more heads-down dancer with razor-sharp drum programming. It's kinetic and punchy, with whirring synths up top and trippy little melodic details that take you late into the night next to the freaky vocals.

Beesmunt Soundsystem is swiftly becoming a Dutch institution… Commanding the controls at their own events in Amsterdam’s legendary Paradiso by the age of 18, David van der Leeuw and Luigi Vittorio Jansen carved their path as discerning selectors long before they established their own studio.
Emerging into the world of production in 2012, their breakthrough cuts arrived on Soweso Music and were received well across the board… “All Day”, in particular, was featured on Breach’s critically acclaimed “DJ Kicks” mix. Earlier this year their appearance on Bristol’s Just Jack has won them more friends, with “How I Wish” scoring them summer appearances across Europe. “Body Shape” speaks with a universal techno tongue; industrial strength beats plough and plunder with clanks and bangs while a dominant detuned synth hammers home an insistent riff that will resonate across the widest realms of house and techno. 

“Amsterdam 808” pays homage to their home city’s techno legacy and develops these dark motifs further.  Naked rim shots batter a hypnotic message into your psyche over the bubbling kick/bass combo. A series of claps builds into a hook that bounces like a tightly coiled spring. Stark, sharp and unyielding, this is a timeless exercise in 808 science that smoulders with a tribal sense of physicality.
Finally we hit “Sugar Square”, and it’s as sweet as it sounds. Sitting happily between Underground Resistance and Jam & Spoon, it taps into the deepest roots of slinky, emotive electronica. Twinkling with every melodic flourish, glistening with every rhythmic twist; it’s the ultimate complement to the darkness that precedes it and showcases the duo’s broadest skills and abilities.

Chandler Sinclair & NV are new school house artists from the US who bring plenty of fresh and forward-thinking perspectives to their sounds. Sinclair has played all over the States and made a significant impact with his first release on Diskull’s Groovy Bone Records. He continues to make a mark with this new single alongside NV, which came about after label head Lucati played a show in Wilmington, North Carolina and met the pair. He was immediately impressed by their passion for house music and their entire crew's dedication to the "unbelievable" show. After exchanging emails, Chandler sent over 'WANT U', and Lucati was, in his own words “Floored! The track was incredible, and I immediately offered to remix it, to which they emphatically said yes!"
In original form, 'WANT U' is a dynamic deep house cut with a super-cool groove. It's finished in style by an alluring and sensual R&B vocal, while silky synths add late-night soul to the most heartfelt groove. Remixer Lucati hails from the US and is a key underground player with credits on Sia, Repopulate Mars and Dirtybird, which all showcase his fresh, dynamic house sounds. His superb version is more direct but no less deep, with punchy kicks and soft chord vamps all making for a heartfelt vibe that will move any crowd. He also provides a dub mix that strips things back even more to the essential drums, while a second dub of the original is also reduced to warm, dubbed-out deep house perfection.
