Dear Generation X, 

Our generation lacks culture. These rappers aren't responsible for leading the way, and the people on television aren't suppose to show you how to live your life. Don't blame the media, guns, drugs, sex, or money. All of that was here before we even existed. 

No one tells you to read these magazines, Facebook or Twitter feeds, watch the television shows, or listen to the radio. The news stations shouldn't have so much negative to report, cops shouldn't have anything to do, and our militaries shouldn't have any war to consider fighting. Unfortunately they do, and we consider that a part of life? What is life? If you actually have what you believe to be an answer kudos. 

Everyday that you wake up is a new test, new obstacle, new way of looking at things. I believe things will never get better, when politicians and people with a little more money and say than others, are left to try and make things better. 

I'm speaking directly to my generation, we're next to run shit. My only concern is that we're not ready. I don't remember my dad needing the new Jordans. I don't remember him needing a bigger set of rims than his peers. I definitely don't remember him selling any narcotic to make ends meet. I'm not knocking anyone that does, but if you do it to impress others. You're a lame, you're a fucking lame. Period. 

I know people that will sell anything they can get their hands on including drugs, to provide for their sons and daughters. Unfortunately for them, that system is short lived and they may not be around to see their son's get that first date or their daughter's go to their first dance. 

Our generation is the real Generation X. We can make a difference or fuck shit up completely. What do you want to do? Keep having females that you know nothing about, lure you into vagina that's no different from the next. No wait, have more bottles at your section right? With the sparklers, got to have the sparklers. Or keep screaming how real you are, but letting everyone and everything around you influence you. You're not real, you're real good at imitating the next mans ideas, pleasures, and desires.  If you want to imitate something, imitate something that can benefit you growing or healing this fucked up society. 

I don't blame these young kids, they're watching us. I wanted to be Iverson at one point, I thought looking like the guy all the girls wanted was ideal. My point is this. They're easily influenced, but what about you grown man? Still easily influenced or are you going to wake the fuck up so you can see your son graduate. Or him actually still look to you for legit advice. What about you bad bitch? You going to be bad forever or are you going to start being beautiful? You're ass is fat, but they didn't stop making fat asses when they made yours. 

Generation X I ask this of you, let's change this world that they've been swearing is at its last days for years and years now. Wake up or keep dreaming, choice is yours.
