Already supported by the likes of Noisia, Ivy Lab, Alix Perez and the whole of the Critical family, few names have risen up as hard and fast as
relative newcomer to the scene. Hailing from Toulouse in France young Monty showcases an array of fast-paced, super-skilled drum &
bass and cutting edge halftime. Having already released on respected labels such as Critical Music, Flexout Audio, 1985, Invisible and Cyberfunk. Monty has already made a big name for himself in the world of drum and bass but this is only the beginning. Nobody can rival Monty's dedication to the craft and hours spent in the studio and the time invested sets him up to be one of the most exciting acts to come out of the scene in recent years. 
This EP is eclectic and represent everything we are into at the vandal HQ; deep, liquid, rollin with a twist of halftime.

THE INSURRECTIONISTS EP, consists of 5 superbly crafted weighted frequency assaults from AK HASH & HOST, DISPROVE, GLYPH & SURVEY, ORDURE and POSIJ. An artful set of accomplished sonic ideas that deliver milk for the ears whilst starving the lungs of air with their low-pressure drops. The SUBVERSE manifesto is clear, the subliming has begun.

Right off the back of his Exit Records Ginza EP and Astrophonica smash hit Hennessey Brown, Groves delivers an EP on Unchained Recordings that spells smackdown, with three tunes that promise to give any system a proper serving of bass weight.

Track 3, KINDA MAD, is a tune that eludes traditional household semantics. Let’s just call it a multi-layered baseline headfuck that should not be allowed to exist.
