The latest release from Madloch’s Sound Avenue imprint welcomes Balad back to the label for a new EP entitled ‘A Distant Memory’. The Australian artist first appeared on the Belgian imprint in 2019 with ‘The Days’, an EP produced alongside frequent studio partner Bigasti. The Sydney residents deep sound has continued to flourish as he carefully adds to a resume that includes releases on Balance Music, BeatFreak Recordings, Where The Heart Is and Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden. Now making a welcome return to Sound Avenue, Balad presents his first solo EP for the label alongside a remix from Zone+.

Long before humans were able to count time in days, weeks, months and years, they measured their lives in seasons. Seasons come and go. They define, and help structure, our lives. When we think back, our memories from the past are often framed by the blazing colours of autumn’s leaves, or the warm kiss of a spring breeze.
Without seasons, time slips through our fingers more easily, and our experiences melt into one another. And summer is a special season. A time of freedom, of joy, of coming together. Summers are for journeys. Trips to new and exciting places. Adventures that play out under the heat of the sun, giving life to everything it touches. Exploration and experience, new sensations and new people. It made sense, therefore, to start our musical journey through the four seasons in this most-cherished period of the year: the summer.
Across the 10 tracks on this VA, we have collected a group of tracks that shimmer and buzz with the energy of long, brilliant nights under the stars, but which also capture the unhurried calm of a balmy, carefree summer’s afternoon. Steadily becoming a household and influential name for aspiring producers and forward-thinking DJs alike, Kasper Koman's unique musical identity comes from a passion to push the boundaries in sound-design along with intelligent composition techniques within the existing frame-work of underground electronic music. Following this ethos for over a decade, the Dutchman's work grabbed the attention and support of many key-players like Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, earning him releases on Guy J's imprint 'Lost and Found', Guy Mantzur's 'Plattenbank', Einmusik's 'EIN2', Paul Hazendonk's 'Manual Music' and more recently, the mighty 'Anjunadeep'.

Originally debuting on Praveen Achary's 'Juicebox Music' in late 2018 through a remix of Monojoke's "Cold City", the Utrecht (Netherlands) based artist returns with his much awaited EP for the label's 38th release. Highlighted by a monstrous growling low-end accompanied by a vibrato-led melody that dances around piano chords, "In Circles" creates an odyssey of emotions. The trip continues through "Wilder" - a deeper yet fierce piece with an innate sense of wanderlust through its musical storyboard, a 'call to the wild', if you will.

Alongside with his studies he joined several rock and rap bands as a DJ producer before he moved to Turkey for university. First year of university was spent experimenting as a vocal singer for different platforms, after which he finally focused on his long loved direction - electronic music. Jay's style fuses elegant and melodic beats accompanied by deep and soulful vocals. Being one of the pioneers of deep house and nu disco genres in Azerbaijan. His first official track called ''Remember'' was released by Maniana Records in 2018
