Randomly saw your link to this on my Reddit feed. I like it a lot! Thank you for sharing this and I'm stoked to tweak and mess around with it a bit myself. I love the character of tape.

So I've been considering buying an old Cassette 4 Track PortaStudio to record my Rhodes, Guitars, Bass & Percussion through. They're super vibey and tape just has an unmatchable character to it. So tonight I figured I'd chop up some Rhodes chords and see what I could do inside Logic with Stock Plugins, and if it turned out well I could share the Preset. Turns out it worked pretty well. I had some help from a few YT vids, I'll link below, one for the sound inspiration and one of someone doing a similar effect in Logic.

1st & 3rd Clip are "Clean". 2nd & 4th Clip are Processed.

The Audio Files are both perfectly gain matched in LUFs, though they may be perceived at different volumes, and the first chord of the progression is a little louder than the rest.

The preset doesn't include the EQ so it may not perfectly gain match in your session but it all depends on the source audio, and you'll have to tweak the gain stages in the preset anyways for the desired effect.

Drop it in Macintosh HD / Users / Your User Name / Music / Audio Music Apps / Channel Strip Settings / Track

Then you can load it up in your Logic sessions on any audio track. I can't make a preset for MIDI tracks because it would include the instrument information so if you tried to open the preset it would replace your Omnisphere with whatever instrument I had on the track. If you want to use it on a MIDI track, open an Audio track, load the preset and drag and drop the plugins to your MIDI track.
