Ahhh finally a new Safe Radio episode. 

Safe Radio S07E02 is the longest so far in the series - more specifically 5 hours and 31 minutes. It consists of 78 tracks that i've been listening to and playing out since last episode. As per usual we're riding from ambient over downtempo to club/dance music.

I've been wanting to put some of the tracks from this episode in my other mixes, but somehow couldn't crack the code until now. I'm obviously super excited about finding a way to finally get [ some of ] these tracks into one of my mixes. 

Big shout out to everyone who are sending messages and showing interest in my music and what I do. I hope you like this one too ;-)

Spring is in the air and the promise of once again dancing on the Tähtitorni terrace is felt. Who better then to provide the second guestmix of 2025 but local favorite Tenko!

Tenko is a familiar sight, both in front of and behind the decks, at Elektorni and Elektyrmä clubs. Tenko represents the decades long lineage of vinyl deejaying tradition in Oulu. Solid selection meets mixing skills and an intuitive feel for putting together vibes. He's part of Space Installation Deejays, who also recently put out a great guest mix for Vuo records.

This mix traverses through a multitude of styles from percussive hypnotism to acid, electro, techno and moody house. There's even some memphis rap in there as well as one of the all-time definitive Elektyrmä tracks (first one to know which one we are talking about gets their name on the guest list of the first Summer Elektorni). Two hours of great music mixed with conviction.

A definite highlight of the already burning hot mix series!

Swedish producer Daniel Savio returns on Finland’s Elektorni label. We’re showcasing the electro funk side to the EP.

Edition 18 of the Elektorni Guest Mix series is here as have the honour of presenting an hour of music selected and mixed by one of the most active deejays in the Helsinki scene Mary Young!

Mary Young has played festivals from Visio to Wibes. In Oulu you might have catched her play at the Tähtitorni terrace at the Pride-Elektorni a few Summers ago. Mary Young is also one of the people behind the London Zoo club concept which has brought artists like Kahn & Neek, Pinch and many more to play in Finland.

It’s only fitting then that this mix contains a healthy dosage of UK club music from straight-up dubstep, to steppers and dark UKG. Artists include Elektorni-favorites Al Wootton and SP:MC as well as exclusive material from Dreadlock tales and DJ Yöveli x Wrekkid, even a couple of rap instrumentals are blended smoothly amongst the tracks.

"I've been listening to a lot of dub, rap and grime lately, so the mix turned out a pretty dark journey inspired by the aforementioned genres."
