Dushyanthan Ramanathan, better known by his stage name Jay Desh, is a Tamil singer and songwriter from Germany. He was born on 15th January 1992 in a village in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

At young age his parents encouraged him to perform on stage with acts like singing, dancing, acting & etc. 

In 2007 he started to express his talent by writing his own lyrics and released them as demos. He got his breakthrough with his first official single "Yen Anbe" after signing at the label "Steve Cliff Production" in 2008. Steve Cliff started to improve the skills of Jay Desh by teaching him new techniques in singing.

Since then he succeeded into the next level and got popular national wide. Following this some Tamil radio channels in Germany, UK and Canada started to play his music. Through working together and being supported by Artists such as T-Youngstar, dJ S-ure-N & dJ kaNnaLlaGaNn (Golden Sound Production), Mauresmo, Blizzy & The Q (TMDC Recordz) and many others he experienced a lot in the field of music. 

Currently he is working together with 2shanth (BHM Records) from UK. 

His ambition is to realize his projects and through that still to reach his fans.
