in this song, i use the phrase "...i'ma snatch you bald...", i don't get that opportunity every day. thank you dad! And my fave, "I'ma drive around with a flag flying from my truck, i'ma flap my mouth like a mutherfucking fuck." and of course, "i'ma choke you out in the name of blue." the lyrics are dear to me.

this song is really about not being a dick. this is equally a challenge worldwide. as part of the and chronic and shamelessly desperate nationalist/anti-progressive bullshit movements, a key strategy has been the dickification  (or mantardification) of men. "shit, dudes are assholes, let's get their vote" they thought. through guerrilla and traditional marketing, the notion that one must be a dick to be a man has permeated our society. legitimized by the ~7 repetitions required for an idea to take root in one's brain, whether true or false, nobel or bereft. formulaic in it's accuracy, this simple strategy costs the unscrupulous a little over a $ grand per washed brain. and they have mountains of loot invest in maintaining their crooked profits. unfortunately for them, lies are expensive to plant, and continue to be expensive to cultivate. truth is always free and will prevail in due time. this song is a reality check for the evolving male persona. 

a man is strong, caring, and fair. All else is to masquerade weakness.
