Cupids Valentine - Jaydon Verbueken

This is a short tune that even though it has a simple melody took me a little while to find the right timing for.... I still am hoping to improve on this and hopefully play in with some musicians one day. This is inspired by the south French-SPanish Mediterranean with a hint of Breton influences to it hehe. I hope you like this short little tune. The tune means: The borderland's dance. I thought this fitting considering how it was a mix of music's and culture that inspired me.

After this project went in premiere on January 8th 2022 I decided to also upload the audio track to sound cloud for those that rather just listen. I truly enjoyed working together with the incredible musicians and friends to make this tune come alive once more.

So, I've never actually tried to play this type of folk music before... I just thought it sounded fun and it made my "staying at home" feelings go from somewhat bored to dancing with a fiddle in my hands...

The Thoughtful Sparrow

a few years ago i composed a piano piece called Ballerina that has a fairy story attacked to it for one of my nieces. Since i needed to figure out how my new midi-controler worked, i thought it be fun to use the same music to add a bit of feel to this musical fairytale.
