"After an impressive late morning closing set at dirtybirds latest Watergate party in Berlin, Sacha Robotti, made his way to Switzerland to play at Nordstern. Hooking up with an equally exhausted Swiss producer, "Look Like" on arrival, the tired and wired duo shared thoughts over a heady green tea session. Realising they shared a deep love for bass, they made a pact: to write a collaborative EP that would score the highest of marks from dirtybird big dog Claude VonStoke. These two slick-back groove attacks are the end result... Loca Lola is a one-way ticket to the most mischievous of party districts where an array of manipulated vocal samples bounce avidly on a bed of chop-slapping beats. Complete with head-popping stabs, cheeky wolf whistles and a carnal carnival shriek, its left VonStrokes floors floundering the world over on every roadtest. Dropout, meanwhile, tunes into a darker, booty-busting techfunk groove where cut-throat vocal stabs punctuate the unrelenting bassline and chest-stamping kicks. Heads down, please; this one shifts in a serious way. What started as a comedown has turned into a fire-up. Collab creations dont come any better than this. Something tells us Robotti and Look Like will be locking horns again the future."

Pets Recordings and Eats Everything go together like tea and cake; like sausage and mash, so it makes sense they have hooked up again for a cheeky one-off release. It finds Eats Everything offering up two special edits of classic tracks straight from his own DJ sets, and they are to be released both digitally and and on vinyl.

The first edit finds the Bristol boy tackling a classic 2011 Detroit cut by Paperclip People, and the second is a rework of a seminal 1994 release by Moonchild aka Alun Harrison and Graham Simmons. If you’ve heard Eats Everything recently you will likely have heard these exclusive club edits getting huge reactions.

Up first, Eats subtly tweaks ‘Parking Garage Politics’, layering in raw house jack, metallic percussive slices and a modulated baseline that will keep floors looked throughout. It’s bulky and textured, grows ever more banging as things unfold and channels plenty of Mid West energy of the sort that fits perfectly with Dan’s own originals.

Next up, ‘Variations on a Theme’ features the classic “work your body” vocal samples, cut up, chopped and dropped into a bootylicious bass framework that pumps in fine style. Some warm, colourful chords flesh out the groove as do plenty of old school synth signifiers. It’s a scorching edit that will warm through chilly winter dance floors for some time to come.

Proving he is as fresh when editing as he is when crafting his own boutique bangers, Eats Everything comes correct once more with this EP.

Jay Francisco has played some of London's favourite clubs from Ministry of Sound, Egg LDN and 93 Feet East, the underground venues of Shoreditch and many of London's old favourite clubs that are now sadly gone including Turnmills, Cable, Cargo, The End, Matter, Pacha and The Cross.  He's had recent stints DJing in Ibiza playing at O Beach and Plastik and others before including Eden and Es Paradis, plus venues across the UK and the rest of Europe.  

Jay has played under other aliases of Twisted Twins & Chrissy Jay.

He has DJ’d alongside many of the biggest dance floor legends and with residencies for club brands such as Kinky Malinki, Shush Party, Smartie Party and Immaculate Touch plus guest DJ slots at many other promotions.  No stranger to big line ups, big crowds and big clubs!  Also a lover of small intimate parties at secret locations and a big fan of warehouse parties, if it's good house music, he's on it!
