After a massive 2014, Chris Lake is back to his roots with the powerful house track 'Chest', out now via Ultra Music. 

Chris Lake's newest release is a true house tune that keeps you on your toes and leads you to the dancefloor. With a smattering of chopped, warped vocal samples and a clean and pumping bass, 'Chest' is an uncomplicated, stripped back track focussed purely on the energy and the beat. 

Last year the Scottish Producer and DJ released ‘Delirious (Boneless)' feat. Kid Ink with Steve Aoki & Tujamo, a club banger that's amassed close to 8 million SoundCloud streams, and now Chris Lake back with another contagious dance track - but this time to focus on a pure and authentic house vibe. 

Known for his modern house infused with funked-out grooves, LA-based Lake was signed to Ultra Music in 2012 after perfecting his signature sound through a series of well-received releases and two Essential Mixes. His early tracks - including 'Changes', an offering that made the top 10 on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay - received a lot of love, and helped him break into the North American scene early into his career.


Last year saw Chris Lake playing to packed crowds across the globe, including Sun City Music Festival in the States, Pacha, Ibiza and e-Lake festival in Luxembourg. He's hit the ground running in 2015 with a January US tour ahead of 'Chest’ release on the 6th of February.

IÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢m always trying to find some big new records at the end of the year so I can go play something fresh, so IÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢d like to present the DIRTYBRD New Years Special. 

Here are seven new bangers for your holiday DJ sets. The tracks are all new & most of them are by new talents on the label. Fresh faces include veteran German producer David Keno, an all new act called Jaded, Sirus Hood from Paris, My Cat Snoop, Mikey V, Wood Holly & Sage Armstrong.  Of course we have a few guys who have been on the label before, Ardalan, Genghis Clan, and Nick Olivetti.

Without doubt one of the anthems of this glorious 2018 Summer, 'Feel My Needs' from Toolroom hero Weiss gets a classy overhaul from one of the hottest names in house music at the moment, Purple Disco Machine.

A firm favourite with Annie Mac who premiered this remix on her Friday night Radio One show, PDM has had an incredible year. The tail end of 2017 saw the unstoppable 'Devil In Me' that is now deemed a seminal classic and PDM has ensured that 2018 pushed on from where this left off. His 'Dished (Male Stripper)' release went on to secure a top 5 spot on Beatport and has racked up an impressive 2m streams on Spotify alone whilst his remix of the Defected classic 'At Night' has also been huge this Summer. Add this to a crippling DJ schedule and it's easy to see how and why PDM is one of the most in-demand house artists on the Planet at the moment.

Demuir marks an inaugural release on Hot Creations with High. Alive. And Dirty., a
diverse four track EP made up of all original records.

The EP opens with Santa and The Elf. A penetrating bassline ratchets up and down, as horn
like synths whir occasionally in the background, alongside tassel-like hi-hats. Up next, the title
track High. Alive. And Dirty. provides stunning contrast. A happy, funk-fuelled number, the
track incorporates disco elements with “positive and soulful vibes”, before Rawness - Beat 3
features a “raw native structure”, bongo sounding drums and tropical vocals to from a well-
rounded, feel-good record. Eerbawdy Wants to Deeezsko rounds off the EP in fine form, with
more disco elements and chiming, emotional keys.

Canadian-based Demuir is a distinctive talent in the electronic music sphere. A prolific
producer, Demuir has already made a home on labels including I’m A House Gangster as well
as Cassy’s Kwench Records, whilst he is soon set to release on Loco Dice’s iconic Desolat
imprint.
