Reminiscent nostalgia springs to mind when we listen to ‘Distant Memories’, a seamless expression of old-school jazz roots & new age production.
Almost a dozen layers of trumpet are layered upon each other, accompanied by a minimal drum beat & flowing chord changes to create a short yet succinct piece that requires repeat listening on the regular. 
The track is a collaborative piece between BrassTracks, a Brooklyn based trumpeter /producer / drummer duo & Alexander Lewis, Multi instrumentalist / producer recently graduated from Manhattan School of Music Jazz Program. 
We’re delighted to give this one away for free as an early xmas present ! Heres hoping this isn’t the last link up between these guys.
