Hey, long time no see! If you keep up with my socials (@jayhillraps), you'll know I've been really busy with Patterns of Chaos, Plumb Jamb, and a bunch of nerd shit with tapes and samplers, etc. It's proven to all be creatively fruitful, but I realized I haven't put anything out under my own name in a while! 
So while I'm completing my new solo EP and these beat tapes and continuing with the rollout for POC's new album CHAOTIC GOOD (patternsofchaos.bandcamp.com/album/chaotic-good) 👀👀👀 
I wanna give y'all a pretty comprehensive update on my progress in the form of these two live sets. In these I mostly perform the same songs, but in two VERY different environments and with different equipment available. I recorded and mixed these myself, hence the presentation as bootlegs lol. Beyond that, I'll let the music speak for itself! There are some cool ideas in here I'll be refining down the line, so listen and join the process with me.

So this one night last November Roberto and I locked in at KL Studios as we often do and he was like "What type of beat you want" and I described pretty much exactly what he made. I then wrote some raps to said beat and we went home around 6AM.
The next night we came back to the studio and recorded, which at one point entailed putting the mic in the corner of the booth while Roberto and I screamed from the opposite corner for the adlibs. This also took until about 6AM.

I like this song tho, like REALLY like it. I'll probably do some more in this lane and figured this should make a good feeler.
