Scott - guitar  the shred master, Damn  At a really nice gig in New Baltimore the most people I ever played for, they got us from word of mouth and wanted us to open their big city shindig called of all things the fishfly festival, Forget the year damn, either 99 or 2000, there were 2 maybe 3,000 people there and we rocked em good, I have to remember to ask Patti if it were that many pretty sure after we finished a set I think, some drunk kid walked up to Scott and said, I could shred you man! It's just funny, why are guitar players more so than any other species so envious or hostile toward other guitar players? I never got it, rivalry?  He said cool walked away,  been torn which one was better, Scotty or Stevie? Then it dawned apples n oranges, 2 entirely different styles and mojo's it's like a good stew, they're both incredibly talented virtuoso's. If I ever had the chance to go on tour I'd want em both with me! Heh, these guys were hot Mark, Jim and Scott, I was definitely the weak link in that chain, but I held my own I guess, I knew they snickered behind my back but that just comes with the territory, high energy for sure,

Then just like that we had one of the best gigs a bar band could ever hope for, Garwood's, Playing at Garwood's was a bands dream bar, gorgeous woman everywhere, boats, and fun people that are waiting for the band to get going, they waste no time at all hitting the dance floor and that feeds the band, it's reciprocal, Hit & Run were: 
Stevie lane lead guitar Vocals on this song Brilliant Stevie just brilliant,  🎸 You know man I still think about parts to songs that just made us both crack almost every time, Stevie is the crème de la crème
his guitar skills are huge, he wears it quietly soulful, he has to have an old soul, I found him playing in a bar when he was 16 years old, doing Cream Sunshine of your love, tunes, it blew me outa my chair and he still does, although it has been some time since we  have spoken I am sure that Stevie knows we are rocking blood brothers from another mother,   I haven't helped with my self imposed exile, but old itches are back this year

LEARN TO FLY HIT RUN

I always enjoyed harmonizing with Stevie,we sounded good, I sang along with this current to see if I still had it,and yes sir, I only ever heard one drummer that can come close to Don Brewer's intro beat in this song, Keith was the only one that nailed it perfectly every time, crazy good clock, That's what the drummer's function is to serve as the song's clock  fills take you into changes, We were trying to show our many styles, This band could do it all, Keith's quiet demeanor and good nature made playing even slow clubs fun, this was my favorite cover band, they all 3 Eric played majestic bass as always with his booming lows loved it,  were top shelf musicians all the way, but if you listen to his fills, he shows it some but not much, Stevie same way only on guitar, I love the guy and always will, he's still out there doing it some where, we don't get to talk much these days, he's a flat out great virtuoso, as is Eric, Very lucky to lose one band and fall in a bucket of shit but come out smelling like a rose on my feet like I always do, but I have great memories from every band I was fortunate to be in, I remember it all like yesterday, funny how quickly life can change
