This is one of my favorite songs that I've found over the last decade or so, and with all the indie artists I deal with during my "day job" that's saying something! I don't know what, but by golly I say it!!!

The whole playlist is best with headphones on, Have you ever woke up alone crying? Then your in the right place, my specialty, trying to get over being hurt, it sucks! The new album at this point is being called Wounded Soul in honor of it, what is, it? the dread, it becomes alive but only if you let it, it's mind over matter, you know the rest,  I woke up from one of those bad dreams again. But I reject that outlook, can a person get PTSD or whatever that's called, from a divorce? I remember waking up and writing most of the words down on the back of an envelope with the title song, and my son we'll just call him Jr. wrote the first 2 verses just passin' through, Lol . I remember thinking my soul is indeed wounded from my last affair.  I am a happy person it took being alone to realize it. The devil you don't know is you.

 Advice tips to over coming a wounded Soul, most important, love yourself! Tips after lyrics, very good helped me very much. All I can say from my experience is to say all in all the experience was dreadful

There is no hurt my dear than to grieve the loss of someone still alive,  25 steps to follow. No matter what may happen tomorrow, 

1. Cut her off completely from your life: Cut all ties

2. Accept that it's over, write a song, it feels really great to create using your pain.

3. No compromises: 

4. Mind vs feelings: Constantly get in a debate in your head when you start missing her. It’s a debate between your mind and your feelings. Start using logic. Think of 10 major problems you had with her as a girlfriend/ BF and as a person. I guarantee you, by the time you’re at reason #5, you’d be like, “WTF

5. Make a list of all the things you disliked about her. Be brutally honest

6. Make a list of all the opportunities you came across the things you could have done but couldn’t because the presence of that person somehow contributed greatly to the opposite direction

7. workout: You are dealing with self-hatred. You are partially blaming yourself. So destroy hatred by self-betterment.

10. Involve your friends: Tell your friends directly that you need their help to move on. Don’t get into any emotional details.

13. Don't do what they did and run to someone else, it never works, that's what she/ HE did, now she is doing everything she can to run from her past, but one sure way to remember something is by trying to forget

14. Reconnect with people: Reconnect with people from your past 

15. Stay engaged: Keep yourself engaged when you’re alone. 

16. Become self-sufficient: You need to realize one simple fact - in order to be complete, you don’t need another person
17. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks but yourself, get right with the universe, do good and good will follow, trust me it works.

18. He/ She is an addiction: Accept that you are an addict on this person. Like every addict on this planet, to conquer the addiction you first have to recognize and accept the disease. You have spent days and months continuously around this person and in a moment she’s/ he's gone. 
19. For when you ask why? Answer with why not? You should not need anyone to be happy, if you do then you have not arrived, but you will by staying the course.

20. No smoking or Alcohol or drugs: ok a little bit is fine

Wrote this when I was in my 20's many snows ago.  I was just learning how to write my feelings down. I felt like rerecording it. It has been fraught with frustration,   Guitar credit to MrRhoads442 looperman a couple of moody loops I really like.  it is where I was at that time and had my first heartbreak which is something we all have to face at one time or another. I wanted a big production feeling from it, that it is ,very hard to mix to much to work in, all in all though I feel happy with it here like this my intro n outro worked out,  The good thing that comes from sadness is an inspiration to create, to write and the knowledge I gain probably because it makes me feel better, only through adversity do we learn it seems. This song has been a challenge for me because there are so many tracks. Below is a Shake-Speare sonnet/poem that is worded much better the way of feeling love's rejection. then the lyrics.

I think I have no less than 5 guitar parts depending on where the song is at. I feel it's overproduced and I will do this project over.

Pretty self explanatory, I like the earlier version better it's a tad rougher but it's got the edge I was looking for, with this song, I came out swinging full of angst I remember it well, but everything kind of gets watered down as it tightens up but I learned from it, don't back off because you might  rethink the original fire. I just wasn't the one for her, and it's okay now ,but man I was so full of angst at that time, Love is a 4 letter word and I admit complete failure  but it's alright  it's like pizza, it's not for everyone,
