Saudi selector and LYMM co-founder, Majid has become integral in the Middle East community. He has grown in tandem with cultural happenings in Saudi Arabia and further afield where appearances at the likes Club der Visionaere, Studio Stereo, Soundscapes, Fabrika Festival, and closer to home, the Beast House series are becoming the norm for Majid. 

Having performed at our last two Saudi editions alongside Beast House, Majid exemplified the deeper aspects of house and techno while still keeping things fresh. We couldn't wait to welcome him to our mix series and he has delivered a recording that doubles down on the impact of these live performances. Shimmering deep house bleeds effortlessly into dub flecked percussive numbers, and with the mix peppered with attitude soaked vocals this mix slaps as much at dawn as it does at dusk.

A talent from an impossibly young age, Chicago producer and DJ Ron Trent began his musical career aged 14, the year he produced the febrile, wild Chicago anthem "Altered States". His production output has barely let up since, minting numerous labels and sub labels to release his and other's music, most notably Prescription Records, which helped define the smoky and jazz-indebted sound of deep house in the 1990s. The young Montreal based artist Jay London's passion for music started at the age of 8 when he started to play the drums. Jay later began to play guitar and piano which eventually led him to discover house music.

The Stereo Resident has recently been collaborating with longtime friend and mentor, Paolo Rocco. The two have collaborated on a remix of DJ Pierre for Get Physical, in addition to an original on DJ Sneak's I'm A House Gangster label.

Jay's career is just beginning, and already he had played in places like New York, Bogota, Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Calgary, South Africa in addition to his hometown festivals Igloofest and Piknik Electronic.

2015 looks bright for Jay London as he is set to release both solo projects as well as more collaborations with Paolo Rocco.
