Life, Love & Relationships is the first mixtape from Jay-May. With this release, be prepared to go on a journey down memory lane as he presents stories from childhood to adulthood and demonstrates how God was relevant through it all. The setting takes place in a counselor’s office as Jay-May goes in for a visit to learn how to deal emotionally with the issues of life. The music goes through a range of topics that he gracefully rhymes across. On “Journey” the scene is set as he opens about his life and how things started. With a triumphant chorus he engages the listener to take a journey with him for the this and the remaining songs on this 20-track mixtape. The song “I’m Shook” finds Jay-May flowing on the iconic instrumental “Shook Ones” by Mobb Deep. He eloquently tells a story of a time in jail that could have cost him his future. In addition to his past life, he aims to inspire. On the song “U Betta Live” he motivates people to live their best life and move forward. Throughout Life, Love & Relationships Jay-May speaks about trials, troubles and problems all the while giving solutions and answers to maneuver through them victoriously.
