I’m excited to share my very first compilation, Intimate Club Vol. 1, coming out on December 6th!  

This 10 tracks collection will take you on a musical journey blending club, bass, breaks, global sounds, and even some emo vibes. It’s a mix that ranges from light, uplifting atmospheres to darker tones, all crafted to create a heartfelt and emotive experience.

The idea behind Intimate Club V/A Vol. 1 is to bring together all my inspirations in one space. By celebrating club culture and electronic music, I aim to break down the walls of purism and let everyone experience something truly authentic. This compilation honors human connections, the diversity of gender identities and cultural backgrounds in music. Each sound and rhythm enriche our musical landscape, offering unique perspectives and overflowing creativity.

You’ll discover tracks from amazing artists around the globe, including Neana, Gaszia, Lisa More, Miss Jay, Burna, a-rot, Cardozo, XQZ ME, Submarine FM, Girl Tool, Frog Chaser, and Casement. Each artist adds their unique flair, creating a diverse collection that looks towards the future.

This first opus is a cocktail of sounds that meet, mix and melt: French Touch, Deep House, Micro House, Ambient, Progressive, Reggaeton, Breakbeat, Jungle, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Hard House, Techno groove, Trance... A colourful mosaic of human experiences where each genre, each note, each rhythm, unites souls and makes our hearts vibrate.

DALF vol.1 takes you on an epic journey through the night.

The journey begins gently, with warm, organic house music that evokes the early evening as the sun sets. As the night progresses, the compilation increases in intensity. More progressive rhythms and bewitching melodies take you to the dancefloor. The heart of the night beats to the rhythm of powerful music, hypnotic bass and high BPMs. This is part 3, where if you're an avid dancer, you'll find something to suit you as you let yourself be stimulated by the sounds of break & bass music. The compilation reaches its climax in part 4 with hard house, groove techno and trance tracks that will keep you moving until the sun comes up.

This compilation is an invitation to dance, from ballroom dancers to tireless night owls in search of unforgettable after-parties. Here, madness is our favourite dance. So let's dance. Let's dance with passion, with fervour, whether in the light or the shade. Let's dance, and the world will become a better dream.

All the way from Peru, DJ Latinchat steps in as the latest guest in RUTA's free download series. A standout talent from the Latin American diaspora in Germany, DJ Latinchat has been making a name for himself with releases on the renowned N.A.A.F.I (Mexico) and prominent European labels such as NOFUTURE BERLIN and Basy Tropikalne (Poland).

‘Bordón’ is DJ Latinchat's contribution to our free download series. This track encapsulates a dystopian, futuristic club vibe, that builds tension with an extended broken-beat intro before erupting into a high-energy four-on-the-floor drop. Its driving, rhythmic bassline is unapologetically crafted for relentless movement and pure euphoria on the dancefloor.

“Let's Put The Groove Back in Techno and House Music”.

Jaymie Silk doesn’t make straight up-and-down techno or house music. The Paris-based artist draws from arange of influences informed by his Afro-European heritage, his teen years as a rap producer and a subsequent move to Montreal, where he fell into the city’s ballroom scene. The result is truly idiosyncratic music that’s as richly varied as his path.

Quickly noticed for his productions mixing rhythms from the Jersey Club, combining African percussions with techno and house sounds, his avant-gardism propels him in the sphere of those artists perpetually challenging the established norms. Constantly playlisted by renowned DJs on BBC, Rinse, NTS or platforms like HOR, described as a "prodigy" or in the lineage of "great black innovators of house and techno" by Juno Daily, it is by releasing projects and remixes on labels like Fool's Gold, Shall Not Fade or Pelican Fly that he asserts himself as a unique artist.

His album "The Rise and Fall Of Jaymie Silk & Rave Culture" and his recent EP "Rub Music Vol.1: Artificial Realness" have been acclaimed by the electronic media, which ranked them in the list of the best albums of 2022 and the best projects of January 2023. Among the first to use AI-generated voices, Jaymie has shown, once again, that he still defies the norms, as evidenced by the notion of Rub Music that he introduced this year (contraction of Rave and Club Music).

Now back in Paris, whether it was with his monthly talk show on Refuge Worldwide where he talked about mental health, on stage (Igloofest, Piknic Electronik, Trabendo...) or via guest mixes as for Annie Nightingale on BBC Radio 1, ''freedom'' is a driving force in Silk’s music, both in its political message, whether subtle or overt, and in his refusal to play by stylistic “rules”.
