前回のAnniversaryも大盛況で幕を閉じたケミモンことRe:CHEMICAL MONSTERSがSpring Festival 2023を開催決定。

今回のSpring Festival 2023にはGarage/Grimeを軸に圧倒的なDJスキルでプレイし、SVBKVLT、Polaarからのリリースでも世界的に注目を集めるPrettybwoy、Ghetto Tech/Footworkを軸に唯一無二のスタイルで常にフロアを踊らせ続けるPharakami Sanders & OyubiによるB2BユニットTOKYO GHETTO WARRIORS、Baile FunkにフォーカスしながらもHardcore/Tranceなどを織り交ぜ、オーディエンスを新境地へ引き連れて行くバイレファンキかけ子、Footworkを軸にExperimental ClubやGorgeなどを独自の解釈で調合し、TOKIO SHAMANや様々なパーティーでも活躍するmoemiki、そしてHKCRのマンスリーレジデントを務め、NAAFI、USI KUVO、TREKKIE TRAXなど国内外のレーベルから自身の楽曲を多数リリースするケミモン主宰のWRACKの5組が出演。

11年以上の歴史があるケミモン史上最も"速い"回を是非現場で体感し、別次元への扉を開いてほしい。

Sayaw Sayaw is a mini project by WILHELMINA featuring two tracks, each with a different take on house music.

Loose has simple and sexy drums that serve as a backbone for catchy percussion, a synth to fill the space and another one to cut through it all. Cheeky moments with drum programming are sprinkled throughout for some tension and flair.


Body Body boasts a pounding kick and a variety of shuffling hi-hats to outline 
a warm synth and a groovy bassline.

Sayaw Sayaw blends elements of lo-fi house, deep house, tribal house, and techno all with WILHELMINA flavor.

Enough rhythms for each of your limbs.

After a previous project using artificial intelligence technologies and cited in the Best Electronic Music of January 2023 by Mixmag, Bandcamp and Resident Advisor, Jaymie Silk delivers here a more autobiographical EP.

Back in France in 2019 after nearly 7 years in Canada, Jaymie Silk realizes that the French scene is still mostly white and ethnocentric, leaving little room for electronic artists from different diasporas yet more and more numerous. Refusing to be confined to the Afro/Dancehall aesthetic where we prefer to pigeonhole black artists, recently placed "alongside so many great black innovators of house and techno" according to Juno Daily, Jaymie Silk continues to exist through techno sounds despite social barriers; 
like a "Negus in Paris".

DJ Latinchat is a Peruvian artist who made a name for himself back in his home country as a member of indie band Mundaka. Now relocated to Europe and based in Berlin, he switched his interest towards electronic music production and is about to deliver his debut release via French label Le Ciel Records. 'Candela' EP brings two new songs (title track among them) filled with his characteristic almost ambient take on dembow rhythm which has already caught a lot of attention in the first months of this year, although this time it is additionally enriched by carefully selected sound palette which includes squeaks reminiscent of early Arca compositions. On top of that, the release will include much more intensive song 'Budian' and remixes by Ecuadorian producer @entranas and label boss @djsevenbeatz.

Jaymie Silk doesn’t make straight up-and-down techno or house music. The Paris-based artist draws from arange of influences informed by his Afro-European heritage, his teen years as a rap producer and a subsequent move to Montreal, where he fell into the city’s ballroom scene. The result is truly idiosyncratic music that’s as richly varied as his path.

Quickly noticed for his productions mixing rhythms from the Jersey Club, combining African percussions with techno and house sounds, his avant-gardism propels him in the sphere of those artists perpetually challenging the established norms. Constantly playlisted by renowned DJs on BBC, Rinse, NTS or platforms like HOR, described as a "prodigy" or in the lineage of "great black innovators of house and techno" by Juno Daily, it is by releasing projects and remixes on labels like Fool's Gold, Shall Not Fade or Pelican Fly that he asserts himself as a unique artist.

His album "The Rise and Fall Of Jaymie Silk & Rave Culture" and his recent EP "Rub Music Vol.1: Artificial Realness" have been acclaimed by the electronic media, which ranked them in the list of the best albums of 2022 and the best projects of January 2023. Among the first to use AI-generated voices, Jaymie has shown, once again, that he still defies the norms, as evidenced by the notion of Rub Music that he introduced this year (contraction of Rave and Club Music).

Now back in Paris, whether it was with his monthly talk show on Refuge Worldwide where he talked about mental health, on stage (Igloofest, Piknic Electronik, Trabendo...) or via guest mixes as for Annie Nightingale on BBC Radio 1, ''freedom'' is a driving force in Silk’s music, both in its political message, whether subtle or overt, and in his refusal to play by stylistic “rules”.
