This song is such an autumn song. I wrote it many years ago. It was first being recorded by the Inchtabocatables on their CD 'Quiet'. It took me a while before I found my own version of it. In times of walls at the mexican border I feel I need to sing more mexican songs :-)This is a live recording from a concert in a Berlin Bar called 'Froschkönig (when Patrick was still there, yeah, nice memories)back from 2009! Wow, that long ago- I  upload it because it somehow brings good memories to me and because there is so much ado about the mexican border these days. I play with my favourite musicians Roland Satterwhite (violin) and Kristoff Becker (cello) who are also very dear friends. I have forgotten who played the rhythm on spoons in that night, We had fun. Maybe I am just sentimental :-)I was actually wrong in my announcement: The song has been written by Tomas Mindiz

This is a song that I made many years ago when Rinde Eckert handed me a handfull of madeup words. I listened into them and tried to find their original place. I completely followed my intuition, so this is not a traditional folksong, but rather my voices homeland that you hear :-)

This is an old scottish fok song I recorded many years ago with my friend Lars Friedrich in homestudio. I playd indian shruti box and guitar and sang in a choir with myself and tried to picture the wide scottish landscape. I heard this song the first time from the Battlefield Band, so this was probably influence :-)It actually dates back into 18th century.

Symmetry

Singer and vocal coach from Berlin Germany.  Plays with Kristoff Becker, cello in a Duo and sings with the Funk &Soulband Capital B. Teaches singing privately and for the Musikschule Paul Hindemith Neukoelln in Berlin. 
Juliane Gabriel has studied opera singing and acting, worked in opera , theatre and film and performed in Peter Greenaways and Saskia Boddekes 'Big Bang' in Warsaw for the opening of the Kopernikus museum. She has taught international workshops in South Korea, and Madison USA. Since 2006 she performed live with her digital self Jaynine Scarborough in Secondlife and other 3D worlds. She acted in the film 'Looping' from Leonie Krippendorff, that came out in beginning 2016 and has also worked on a CD 'Thousand Rooms, that has been released im summer 2016. 2022 again in South Korea fo a workshop and a concert.  Writing on her Book 'Süß und Bitter'.
